Gertrude S. Dickerson MacMillan, Class of 1934, 95 of Largo died peacefully Friday Sept. 28th at Woodside Hospice House. Born July 17, 1917 in Thomaston, Connecticut she was the daughter of Frederick and Sarah Dickerson. Gertrude owned and operated an awning company in Newburgh, NY retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Largo, FL. She enjoyed playing Mah jongg, and was a Bridge Master. Gertrude married the late William T. MacMillan Nov 12, 1936. She is survived by two sons James and William MacMillan both of Maryland, daughter Susan McComas of Largo, FL, and daughter-in-law Marie MacMillan of Newburgh, NY, niece Nancy Dittbrenner and nephew William Brown, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1:00pm Sat. Oct 20th at Ranchero Village in Largo. Memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice. Online condolences may be made at
