William Andrew "Gump Jr." Weygant, of Newburgh entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. He was 55 years old. Andy was the son of Mary (Ruud) and the late Andrew Weygant. He was born January 23, 1957 in Newburgh. Andrew was a graduate of Newburgh Schools and went on to become a Union Painter with the local #121. Andy loved to hunt and fish with his brothers. Those who knew Gump Jr. knew how much he loved to make everyone laugh. "To know him was to always laugh." Gump Jr. will be sadly missed by all of those who loved him. In addition to his father, Andy was predeceased by a sister LuLumae Stewart-Weygant and his son Andrew Weygant III. He is survived by his mother, his two precious daughters, Malisa Naclerio Weygant and Heaven Lee Waygant; his 3 dear grandchildren, Philip, Brionna, and AJ Ramos; his sister Jean Marie Farrell of Long Island; 3 brothers, Thomas(TJ), Michael, and Larry Weygant all of Newburgh; he also leaves to cherish his memory many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home, Newburgh. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 pm, officiated by Father Bill Scafidi.
