   Martha Yesse Spellman a retired secretary for Schoonmaker Homes and longtime Newburgh resident entered into rest Thursday October 20, 2011 in West Orange, NJ. She was 95. The daughter of the late Frederick and Wanda Krause Yesse, Martha was born April 15, 1916 in Newburgh. Martha was devoted to the Salvation Army in Newburgh and its charitable deeds. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Kroeze and husband, Edgar of West Caldwell, NJ; grandchildren: Meghan Hodgson, Kyle Rice, Zachary Rice and great grandchildren: Tyler Barbin, Grace Hodgson and Ella Hodgson. In addition to her husband, Arthur Spellman, she is predeceased by her sister, Anna Travis. Visitation for friends and family will take place Monday October 24 from 10-11 a.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 N. Plank Rd., Town of Newburgh. Funeral service will commence at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
