  Helen M. Jones, 96, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Apopka, Fla. She was born in Newburgh, N.Y. and had resided in Albany since 1959. Helen was assistant director of Community Nursing and Home Health Agencies for NYS Department of Health. She was a member of the Adirondack Mountain Club, Nature's Conservancy and the Visiting Nurses Association of Albany. She was also a member of the Vanguard of the Albany Symphony and of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Helen was predeceased by a sister, Elsie Chapin; brothers, John R. Jones, Richard N. Jones and Charles R. Jones. There will be no service at Helen's request.
