   Jonathan McDoe, 18, of Newburgh, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. He was born in Cold Springs, NY on May 26, 1989, the son of Kenneth E. McDoe and Juanita Arline. Jonathan was a student at Newburgh Free Academy. He was also among the first group of people to join the House of Refuge. He could be counted on to assist with setting up for service and breaking down the chairs and equipment until we purchased our building. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. Survivors include his loving parents, Kenneth E. McDoe, Sr. and Juanita Arline of Newburgh, NY; two brothers, Kenneth E. McDoe, Jr. of Richmond, VA and Devon McDoe, of Newburgh, NY; three sisters: Nashonda R. McDoe, Jamee N. McDoe and Nateshyia McDoe, all of Newburgh, NY; maternal grandparents, James and Rose Arline of Newburgh, NY; paternal grandparents, Earl McDoe and Willie Walker, both of Newburgh, NY; great-grandmothers, Rosalee Davis of Newburgh, NY and Waldora Arline of Macon, GA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, a special friend, Johnnie Durrell Jr., and many, many, many friends. He was predeceased by great-grandfathers, Hilliard Arline and Lavander McDoe; one uncle, James Arline Jr. "Fatman"; one aunt, Angela Arline and one cousin, Diontte Jones. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at House of Refuge International Ministries D.T.R.M, Inc., 127-131 Broadway, Newburgh, NY. Services begin at 12 noon at the church. Bishop Jeffrey C. Woody will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY. Rhodes Funeral Homes, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY is entrusted with professional arrangements.
