Albert Johnson, Jr., Class of 1998
Message: Albert Johnson Jr. of Newburgh, N.Y. a lifetime resident of the area, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Newburgh. He was 20. The son of of Valencia Pierce and Albert Johnson Sr., he was born Nov. 15, 1980, in Newburgh. Survivors include his father, Albert Johnson Sr. of Newburgh; his mother, Valencia Pierce of Jamaica; five brothers, Lamel, Aaron, Adrian, Andre and Antwoine, all of Newburgh; one sister, Munchella of Newburgh; maternal grandmother, Mae Pierce of Newburgh; and maternal great-grandmother, Mamie Troy of Newburgh. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Brutus W. Hodge Funeral Home, 13 Chambers St., Newburgh. Services will be held at 12 noon Friday, Jan. 26, in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First St., Newburgh. The Rev. Dr. Ralph E. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middlehope.
