Brian Michael Kilpatrick, 28, of Kingshill Road, Walden, NY, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 in the St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY.
Born in Newburgh, NY on April 11, 1980, he was the son of Kenneth and Marlene V. Colantuono Kilpatrick of Walden. Brian was a fulltime student at Orange County Community College studying Elementary Education. He was employed by Tarsio Bowling Lanes, Newburgh. Survived by his parents at home and one brother-in-law, Richard Rhoades of North Carolina and one loving nephew, Connor Rhoades of North Carolina; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Kilpatrick who died June 14, 2000 and his sister, Janeen Lee Kilpatrick Rhoades who died March 7, 2007. Family statement reads: "Brian was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He will always be loved and missed by all who knew him." Brian was a member of the Newburgh Bowling Association. Brian accomplished the feat of bowling 300 in four separate games as well as bowling an 813 series. Brian was a dedicated fan of the band "Queen" and traveled far and wide to see his favorite band. He loved his New York Mets. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 25, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at the DiDonato Funeral Home with the Reverend James Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middlehope, NY.
