Message: Sean David Stumpf, 37, entered into heaven on Saturday, September 28, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born in Newburgh, NY, on September 10, 1976, he was the son of Sharon (Sheri) and Edwin Stumpf, Jr. He was a graduate of NFA in Newburgh and received his BS in Geography from SUNY Oneonta and his MA in Geography from SUNY Albany. He worked for the Department of Defense in Virginia. Sean touched many people in his lifetime with his caring heart, his smile and his humorous personality. We will miss him dearly and cherish the memories that he made with us. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Ryan-Stumpf; his daughter, Maya and son, Christian of VA; his parents, Sheri and Ed Stumpf, Jr. of Newburgh; his brother, Ed Stumpf of VA; his mother-in-law, Tina Ryan and brother-in-law, Jeff Ryan, both of Florida, as well as aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, John Ryan. A college education fund is being established for Maya and Christian.
