   Margaret "Peg" Holt, of the Town of Newburgh, NY, a retired actuary for N.Y. Trap Rock Corporation and a lifelong resident of the area died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Putnam Hospital Center. She was 92. The daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Lovschal Holt, she was born June 9, 1916 in the Town of Newburgh. Peg was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh, and for the Stroke Recovery Group. She was member of Hudson River Chapter #362 O.E.S., Juanita Court Order #112 of Amaranth Business & Professional Women of Newburgh, Golden Age Seniors of the Town of Newburgh YWCA, and A.A.R.P. She is survived by her nephews, Eric Holt of Ballston Lake and Dennis Holt of Tucson, AZ; great nephews: Kristopher Holt of Wichita, KS and Patrick Holt of Des Moines, IA; grand nephew, Christopher and grand niece, April. She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph L. Holt. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
