Caitlin Fedigan - Class of 2006

      Caitlin Fedigan of New Orleans formerly of Newburgh, entered into rest after a long and valiant struggle at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA on April 23, 2014. She was born March 18, 1988 in Newburgh, NY. Caitlin was a kind and gentle daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was an avid writer, had a great love for traveling and was always making new friends. She was a wonderful Aunt to her nieces and nephews. Their memories of her will be of laughter and playfulness. Caitlin lived her life enjoying every moment and was blessed with a gentle nature that benefited all who knew her. Caitlin is survived by her loving parents Gayle (Clark) and Michael Fedigan of Newburgh; her siblings: Courtney and her husband Gregory Stiles , Laura and her fiancé TR Petronella and Thomas Fedigan; her nieces and nephews: Chenoa Fedigan, Vance, Chloe Marie and Parker Stiles; many aunts, uncles; 45 first cousins and their 80 children. Caitlin was predeceased by her grandparents: James and Irene Fedigan and Thomas and Helen (Bennett) Clark. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at both LSU Interim Hospital and Ochsner Medical Center for their excellent and compassionate care. Memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, May 1 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, May 2 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Roseton. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A Mass for Caitlin was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Abbey in Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Caitlin’s name to A-Hope a Day Center www.homewardboundwnc.org or to the charity of one’s choice.
