Catherine Perry Howard, of New Windsor entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2014 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 82 years old. The daughter of Harold and Catherine Perry, Catherine was born on November 11, 1931 in Newburgh, NY. Catherine was retired and formerly employed by Related Management Corporation in New York, NY as an Office Manager. She was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. A beloved wife, devoted mother and true friend. Catherine set an amazing example of how to survive through life's difficulties without complaint. She will be greatly missed. Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Arthur; two children: Karla and husband, Sonny Thomas of Theresa, NY, Stacey and husband, Jeffrey Stringer of New Windsor, NY; seven grandchildren: Jennifer and Jamie Akins, Christopher Anderson, Zachary Stringer, Miranda, Lydia and Gretchen Thomas and eight great grandchildren: Gabrielle and Valerie Akins, Tyler, Lori and Maya Collins, Carrick Thomas, Talon Bevilacqua, and Ryker Groginski. She was predeceased by her son, Glenn Arthur Howard. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson NY 12520.
