Willie was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy in 1984, see Camera Shy. The son of the late Willie Stroud and Helen Marie Harrington Stroud, he was born February 12, 1965 in Newburgh. Survivors include his mother, Helen M. Stroud of Middletown; daughter, Asia Stroud of Virginia; brothers: Tony Stroud and his wife, Melissa of Middletown, Randy Stroud and his wife, Pam of Town of Newburgh, and Mark Stroud of Kingston, NY; sisters: Debbie Stroud of Newburgh, Kisha Stroud of New Windsor, Dominique Stroud of Newburgh and Marie Stroud of Newburgh; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, August 4th at First United Methodist, 245 Liberty St. Newburgh, NY. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Walden, P.O. Box 135, Walden NY 12586.
