Harry F. Spreer of Poughkeepsie passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014 at Lutheran Care Center. He was 91. Born on March 27, 1923 in Newburgh to the late Harry F. and Helen Edman Spreer. Harry worked at IBM as an Administrator and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He is survived by his Children Donald R. Spreer and his wife Keiko of Poughkeepsie and Lynda M. Torch and her husband Pierre of Gardiner. Dear Brothers Charles Spreer , and Edward Spreer and his wife Linda of New Windsor. Cherished grandchildren Jennifer Spreer, David Rogers and his wife Kendra. Loving Great Grandchildren Anthony and Donald Perpetua, Nicholas and Owen Rogers. He was predeceased by his wife Madeline in 1998 and his sister Helen Fitzgerald. The family would like to thank the staff at Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie for the care and comfort they showed dad in his last years.
