Thomas M. Detoro, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away with his wife at his bedside, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at their home in Newburgh, NY. He was 60 years old. Son of the late Cosmo and Della White Detoro, he was born in Newburgh, NY on March 23, 1954. Thomas was a Medical Technician and retired after 39 years with St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall, NY. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Monroe, NY. Tommy enjoyed every day, but was a huge fan of Halloween. Not only did it become a Detoro tradition to celebrate it to the fullest, it was celebrated in High Holy Holiday fashion. Tommy will be terribly missed by family and friends. For Tom & Patricia, who have special meaning for gerbil kisses.Love you Infinity and Beyond.
