Lawrence "Larry" Hunger, 58, of Walden, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 30,2014 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 19,1956 to Leonard and Lucy Hunger. A graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Larry spent many years working as a machine operator in the Newburgh area. He loved to read as well as write, completing multiple movie scripts, novels and short stories over his life. He was a passionate sports fan, including the Giants and Knicks, as well as his beloved Mets. A loving father, husband and brother, Larry is survived by his wife Sharon, son Matthew, brother Michael and sister Iris. His wonderful spirit and life will be celebrated at a memorial service to occur at 1:00 PM on October 20,2014 at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home Inc. 318 N.
