Mark A. “Buzzy” Secreto a lifelong Newburgh resident, entered into rest on
October 8, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh. He was 60 years old. The son
of the late Louis P. and Teresa (Fabian) Secreto, Mark was born on June 17, 1954
in Newburgh, NY. He married Anne P. Hillery on May 12, 2001 in Plattekill, NY.
It is with a heavy and loving heart that we announce the passing of our loving
husband and father, Mark. Mark was a fun loving man who enjoyed the simple
things in life: his family, his friends, a few laughs, a couple of drinks, his
remote control. Most of all he enjoyed his quality time in the garage wrenching
with his son Rick at his side. Mark also enjoyed spending time with his other
boys: Zach, Rob, Dave, Noel and Dan. Mark gave us many great memories that will
last a lifetime. So now it is time for you to party with your angels. The family
would like to thank the nurses on 4N and all of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital
as well as Mark’s team of doctors. Mark is survived by his loving wife Anne of
Newburgh; his loving son Richard T. Merring II of Newburgh, NY and Morgan,
Frank, and Jenna Secreto all of Newburgh; his grandchildren: Tessa and Bodhi
Secreto of Newburgh, NY. There will be no visitation and burial will be
privately held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made
in Mark’s name to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East
33rd St., New York, NY 10016.

was like a brother and his entire family were very close to my parents all our
lives.Gone way too soon .
