Janet Matthews Anderson Graham, of New Windsor entered into rest, Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Montgomery Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was 87. The daughter of the late Richard and Ann Smith Matthews, Janet was born March 30, 1927 in Newburgh. Janet is survived by her children of Raymond Anderson: Jann Hecht and husband, Gene of Wallkill, Jill Hicks and husband, John of Newburgh and Dana Romer of Newburgh, her sister, Joyce Mitchell of Newburgh; grandchildren: Mickey Yannone, Diana Salvatore, Alyssa Hicks and Douglas Romer; great grandchildren: Richard Salvatore, Alessandra Hopkins and Harley Yannone. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Richard Graham, daughter, Dianne Anderson; grandson, Justin Romer, and her sister, Edna Lynch. Visitation for family and friends will take place Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2 -6 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd. (Rte. 32), Newburgh. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, October 20th at the funeral Home with Pastor Steve Sherwood officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
