     Shirley McCarthy Keefer entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2014 at her home in Naples, FL. She was a kind and giving person who was loved by all who knew her. Shirley was born in Newburgh, NY where she lived most of her life. She was retired from Grand Union supermarkets and resided for the past twenty-three years in Naples, FL. She is survived by her daughters, Maryann Corbett and Shirley Ann Reed and husband, David; sons, Thomas F. Corbett Jr., John D. Corbett and wife, Patricia, James Corbett and wife, Pat, Kevin A Corbett, Jeffrey A. Corbett and wife, Barbara; step daughters, Linda and husband, Rick Knevels, June and husband, Roland Geiger, and Kim Keefer; sister, Ethel Figurski; sister-in-law, Mary McCarthy, Loretta Keefer, Wilma Keefer, and Marian Keefer; grandchildren, Edward Corbett and wife, Michelle, Brandy Corbett, Georgiana Corbett and partner, Ted Bechard, Michelle and husband, Sean Harbeck, Max Corbett and wife, Christa, Jody Corbett, Kaitlin and husband, Barnard Fielder, Kevin Corbett and wife, Lisa, Corinne Corbett, Brianne Corbett and partner, Joe Geer, Jennifer Corbett, Thomas Corbett, Michael Reed and wife, April, Steven Reed, Alex Keefer, Edward Pompa, and James Geiger. Shirley is further survived by 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Thomas F. Corbett Sr., husband Robert R. Keefer; her parents, Frederick and Velma McCarthy; brothers, Edward and Frederick; sisters, Mary and Barbara; and great granddaughter, Samantha Gomes. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Landmark Naples Clubhouse, 1620 Gulf Coast Drive, Naples, FL 34110.
