Message:
Margaret “Peg” Tudico Cosman of Newburgh entered into rest with her family by her side at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY from complications from major surgery. She was 66 years old. The daughter of Bernadette DiNitto and the late Anthony Tudico, she was born in Newburgh on August 11, 1948. Peg was a graduate of NFA in 1967 and attended Mt. St. Mary College in Newburgh. She was in business as an antique dealer with her mother Bernadette. For several years she owned a store at 486 Broadway named Bernadette & Co. Peg loved the Jersey Shore and often took her 3 little sisters there for a week or two of great fun. She always seemed to return the following week to take her mom after entertaining us younger girls. Peg was a true family person who was a great sister to Joan, Monica, and Andrea and a dedicated mother to her only child Anthony Cosman. A wonderful aunt to Angelo Canallo, Jr., Victoria DiViesti, and Daniel Babcock. She was close with her favorite cousins Kathy and Carol and she loved her 2 cats, Pumpkin and Peanut, as if they were people. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, December 8 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm officiated by Deacon Peter Haight at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
