Angelo Stellitano Sr. - Class of 1946

       Angelo Stellitano Sr. of Newburgh, entered into rest on December 8, 2014 at The Bronx VA Hospital. He was 86 years old. The son of the late Augostine and Margaret Stellitano, Angelo was born on September, 19, 1928 in Newburgh, NY. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, the local VFW and the Carpenters Union. Angelo was an avid Jets and Yankees fan, he enjoyed gardening, riding his lawn mower, and he loved his family dearly. He was a wonderful great father and grandfather who will be sincerely missed. Angelo is survived by his Children: Angelo “Butch” and his wife Mary Stellitano of Newburgh, and Diana Stellitano of Newburgh; his sister: Nancy Sheals of Newburgh; his grandchildren: Michael and Lauren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Angelo was predeceased by his loving wife Bernice Stellitano; his siblings Frank and Nancy (wife) Stellitano; Mary Stellitano and Pauline Cinkota and husband John. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, December 11 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Bill at 10 am on Friday, December 12 at St. Mary’s Church in Newburgh. Entombment will follow in Cedar Hill Mausoleum in Newburgh.
