He was born July 10, 1968, in Newburgh, NY, to Roseann (Antonelli) Cubito and the late Joseph Cubito. John was a graduate of NFA High School, class of 1987. After graduation John enlisted in the United States Navy, and served for two years. He received his honorable discharge due to medical reasons. John grew up in Newburgh NY, and after the Navy he returned home where he met his future wife Tracy. They were married on May 22, 1994 in New Windsor NY. John worked in sales, and his job took him and his family to Green Bay, WI. Where he worked and finished his career with Farmer Brothers Coffee. Together John and Tracy owned and operated Big Apple Bagels in Ashwaubenon on Oneida St, from 1998-2004. He was a Giants fan his whole life, but learned to love the Packers too. John's number one passion was his daughters and attending all their bowling events. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his wife and family. He did all he could to provide, protect, and devote himself to them. He will be remembered as a simple man, who enjoyed the small things in life. John is survived by his wife, Tracy; two daughters, Briana, and her fiancé Brooks, and Lexi; a grandson, Lucas John (whose name is in honor of his Grandpa John); his mother, Roseann Cubito; his brothers and sisters, Joseph Cubito Jr., Anthony (Michelle) Cubito, Renee (Tom) Martin, Paul Cubito; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Keri Bartollazzi, Holly (Joshua) Kamin, Scott (Jess) Decker; father-in-law Carl (Joann) Decker, mother -in -law, Kathie Fetterly; two special godsons, Cameron and Trevor.
