Marlene G. Sieczek Jordy - Class of 1963

  Marlene G. Sieczek Jordy of the Town of Newburgh, a retired secretary for Dr. Altwerger entered into rest Saturday, January 17, 2015 at home. She was 68. The daughter of the late John and Esther Joseph Sieczek, Marlene was born September 13, 1946 in Newburgh. Marlene was the co-founder of the Hudson Valley Bottle Club and the Half Moon Post Club and formerly attended Union Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her beloved husband, Robert Jordy at home, sons: Scott Jordy and wife, Helen of Mountaindale and Michael Jordy and wife, Jennifer of the Town of Newburgh, grandchildren; Katelyn Jordy, Taylor Jordy, Khloe Jordy, Breann Jones, Zackery Jones and Jared Moore. A celebration of Marlene's life will take place Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd. (Rte. 32), Newburgh. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Marlene's memory to the Town of Newburgh Animal Shelter, 645 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550 or to the Hudson Valley SPCA, 940 Little Britain Rd., New Windsor, NY 12553.
