Thomas F. Quicksell - Class of 1952

    Thomas F. Quicksell, age 81, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Newburgh, NY on March 14, 1933, he was the son of the late Ellis Booth Quicksell and the late Florence Frances Holmes Quicksell. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the Underwater Demolition Team. He retired from VyTech Industries, serving many roles during his employment. Tom was a member of Stone Creek Cove Golf Club and St. Francis Catholic Church in Newburgh, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Mabel Quicksell; his children, Thomas Francis Quicksell, Jr. and his wife Pat, Susan Lynne Quicksell Swart and her husband James and Stacy Anne Quicksell Higginbotham; a brother, Patrick James Quicksell; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. No services are planned at this time. The family will be at their respective homes.
