Submitted by Bill Norvell 65 <w.norvell@gmail.com> on 22/Jan/2015 Message: Benjamin Donald Vincent - A light went out at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Benny Vincent, a man who knew that two's company but three's not a crowd, it's a party, has passed away. He was 83 years old and in everyone's life who knew him there is now a Benny-sized hole. A native of Newburgh, New York, Benny moved his family to Hollywood, Florida in 1964 and never looked back. He loved the beach, he loved the weather, he loved the chance to make new friends, even if only for a lovely afternoon of cocktails. With his second wife, Nancy, he raised three boys, Thomas, David, Mark, and suffered the loss of a fourth, Michael. He had the ability to turn an otherwise ordinary moment into a celebration and he leaves us all with a rich library of memories and stories simply because he was there. He is survived by his brother Richard and wife Chris, and his family: Nancy Vincent, his sons:Thomas and partner Jennifer De Pinto, David and wife Lisa Tait, Mark and wife Susanna Yurick, and his grandchildren: Emilia Vincent, Michael Vincent, Sydney Vincent, and Niko Vincent. It would be an egregious omission to leave out his cousin and sidekick George DiDio, so we won't. Replies to this post
