    Doreen C. Ploss Clark, 47, of Route 213, Kingston died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at home. Born April 2, 1967 in Goshen, N.Y. she is the daughter of Roy and Margaret “Peg” (Austin) Ploss. A New York State Certified Daycare Provider Doreen owned and operated Away Wee Go Daycare. She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and SUNY Delhi with an associate degree. She formerly competed in the Hunter Jumper Division of horse shows. She loved her daycare children, dogs and enjoyed camping. In addition to her parents, Doreen is survived by her husband Thomas Clark whom she married on Aug. 7, 2010; her brother, Donald Ploss and his wife Pamela; her sisters, Debra Vents and her husband Craig, Diane Stears and her husband Mark and Donna Vargetto and her husband Sal; her father-in-law Harold A. Clark; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Ploss, Bronson Ploss, Allie Vent, Brevin Vent, Jessica Vargetto, Carson Vent, Jacquelyn Vargetto, Zackery Stears and Annika Stears; her grand-nephew, Jordan Ploss and K-9 companions, Colby, Cassie and Teddy. Her mother-in-law, Doris M. Clark and nephew Austin Vent died previously. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. Reverend David Brechter officiating. Cremation will take place at Wiltwyck Crematory.
