James Allen Fowler - Class of 1952

    James Allen Fowler of Highland, NY passed away March 9, 2015 at home. Jim was born October 13, 1933. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1952. The son of the late Joseph and Iona Fowler, he was a retired service technician for Abbot & Mills and served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his three daughters: Linda and husband, Ron Runstein of Florida, Judi Dollaway of Highland and Patti Cardella and husband, James of Highland. He is also survived by his brother, Edward Fowler and wife, Mary of Montgomery; eight grandchildren: Heather and Kenneth Dollaway, Ryan Murphy, Jennifer Cardella, Jolene and husband, Mike Gulla, James Cardella and wife, Cherokee, Joseph Cardella and Adam Cardella; and many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 15th at Sutton Funeral Home, 1 Woodside Place, Highland, NY 12528.
