Edward R. Scott - Class of 1953

      Edward R. Scott of Campbell Hall and formerly of Newburgh, NY entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2015 at Campbell Hall. He was 81 years old. The son of George H. Scott and Ella Schreeder Scott, Edward R. Scott was born on January 2, 1934 in Newburgh NY. Edward R. Scott honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army serving 1954-1956. Edward was a retired truck driver for Costa beverage in Newburgh NY. A family statement reads: "He will be missed greatly". Edward R. Scott is survived by his son, George E. Scott of Richmond VA; daughter, Terri Paquette and husband, John of Wallkill, NY; also several nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his parents, brothers: Joseph and Stancil Scott and sister, Christina Easterling. Visitation will be private at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 13th at St. Francis Church, 145 Benkard Ave., Newburgh NY. Entombment will be private in Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh NY. Arrangements are by Kevin Quigley of Quigley Bros.
