William J. "Bill" Beahan - Class of January 1942

    William J. "Bill," Beahan passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. He was 90. Born in Newburgh, NY he was a long time resident of Wyckoff before moving to Allendale. Bill was a bond salesman at Lebenthal in New York, and worked at Morgan Stanley/ Dean Witter and Samuel Ramirez & Co before retiring. He served in the US Army during WWII, was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Bill is predeceased by his parents, William J. and Carrie Beahan, his wife Gloria, a son Tony and two brothers: Edward S., and Francis J. Bill is survived by nine Beahan nieces and nephews, fourteen Woska nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law: Shirley Beahan and his cousin's wife Pat Cleary. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 4-7 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 9th at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow at the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery. Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America NJ Chapter, 150 Morris Ave # 102, Springfield Township, NJ 07081.
