James Quinn - Class of 1973

  James Quinn "Jim" passed away in May, 2015 in Brazil from liver problems he was class of 1973 (listed in Camera Shy)

Submitted by Pauline Rute Hall 1952 - James M. Quinn, Jr. entered into rest on May 5, 2015 in Curitiba, Brazil. He was born on April 12th, 1955. He is the beloved son, of Arlene Quinn and the late James M. Quinn, Sr. James was a 1973 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. He served in the United States Navy as a Boiler Technician from 1976 to 1984. He worked for CHG&E/Dynegy for twenty six years and retired in 2011. Jim was a past member of the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796. He will be sadly missed by his mother; his wife, Veronica Treu; two sisters, Joan Russo and her husband, James of Marlboro, NY and Patricia Ciccone and her husband, Charles of New Windsor, NY. He was a good husband, son, brother, uncle and God Father. Jim was blessed with many life time loyal friends who he enjoyed immensely. He will be remembered for his love of animals and his humor in any situation. Cremation was held at the Vaticano Crematory, on May 6th. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 5th, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 55 Grand Street, Newburgh, NY.
