Paul E. "Hogie" Hogancamp, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, a Newburgh native for 67 years and Punta Gorda, FL resident for 13 years, entered into rest on Friday, June 5, 2015. He was 80. Son of the late Paul Hogancamp Sr. and Loretta (Dabroski) Hogancamp, he was born August 17, 1934 in Newburgh. Paul was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, and received an Associate's Degree in CAD. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, one of the co-founders of NYS Licensed Guides Assoc. for hunting and fishing, and a member of the NRA. A man of many talents, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, artist, and draftsman engineer. He lived life with humility. He always had a kind word, a sarcastic joke, and a warm smile for everyone! Graziosi; his children, Gregg Hogancamp of Milton, Mark Hogancamp of Kingston, Mike Hogancamp of Florida, Jennifer Pingelski and Chris Carchidi of Newburgh, Tina Carchidi of Cornwall-on-Hudson, and Liz and Tom Mills of Marlboro; his sister, Joan Nickerson of New Windsor; grandchildren, Zoe Young, Amanda Hogancamp, Alyssa Hogancamp and Kiley Hogancamp; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Monday, June 8 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, June 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Newburgh, with burial following in St. Francis Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860, or online at www.karenannquinlanhospice.org Replies to this post No replies yet |
