Francis M. Terrasi "Frank" - Class of 1963

      Francis M. Terrasi "Frank" of New Windsor entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. He was 70 years old. The son of Alfonso and Rita DeRosa Terrasi, Francis was born on August 18, 1944 in Newburgh, NY. Francis was a graduate of NFA class of 1963. He went on to become an LPN and received a degree in accounting. Francis was a member of the Quarter Century Club at IBM where he worked as an engineer for 35 years. After retiring, he worked in the deli at Hannaford which he enjoyed. Francis honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was involved in many sports including hunting with his bow and rifles. He was also passionate about cooking and vacationing with his family. A family statement reads: "Frank was a devoted husband and father who always put the needs of his family first. He was always willing to help anyone in need and was selfless until the end. He will be greatly missed." Francis is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Graziano Terrasi; and his three children: Patricia Steinhilber and husband, Kevin of Florida NY, Anthony P. Terrasi and wife, Liza of Goshen, NY, and Lori Ann Terrasi at home; several grandchildren: Christopher, Kaitlyn, Alexandria, Anthony J., Brandon, Trinity, Sandy, Anthony R., and Nathan. He is also survived by longtime friend, Larry Sweney and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Anthony P. Terrasi. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 13th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14th at the funeral home. Burial will follow the Service at Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor.
