Joyce Remkus, Peekskill, NY born July 31, 1947, in New York, New York, won her battle against pain and suffering and entered glory to be with her Savior on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. She leaves behind many faithful friends and hundreds of those whose lives she touched through 40-years as a social worker. Since Joyce chose to donate her body for medical research, there will be no immediate services. However, a memorial service will be held on August 15, 2009, at 7 p.m. at Community Bible Church, 301 Chadeayne Rd., Ossining, NY 10562. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Joyce can be made to Community Bible Church.
