Submitted by Pauline Rute Hall 1952 <Grammypgh@aol.com> on 11/Aug/2015 Message: Patricia Lee Redner of Newburgh died peacefully Monday, August 10, 2015 with her two loving daughters by her side. Patricia was born on July 26, 1936 in Newburgh. She was the daughter of the late James and Estelle Lee, wife of Donald Redner. Employed as a civilian secretary on the post of both the U.S. Military Academy, West Point and in her last working years at the Stewart Field Military Engineering office. Patricia enjoyed her retirement by staying active with family and her friends. She took great pleasure in going out with her sister, sister-in-law and girl friends to dinner, movies, shopping and the occasional trip to NYC to see a Broadway show. She was never one to stay still; we would never know what she was doing or where she was going until the next day when we would hear the stories about her escapades. She was the focal point to all of our family functions and would always go out of her way to help others. Patricia was a Life Member of Goodwill Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary, to which she always had a special place in her heart for the firematic services. Dedicated booster of NFA sports where she enjoyed watching her grandchildren compete. Patricia is survived by her two devoted daughters, Kelly Chatham and her husband Charles of New Paltz, Kim D'Angelo and her husband Joseph of Newburgh. Her sister Nancy Doce and her husband Vincent of Montgomery. Her bother Charles Lee of North Carolina, Her sister in-law Geraldine Lee of New Windsor, brother in-law Robert (Bobby) Redner of Florida and sister-in-law Pat Redner of Maine. Cherished grand-daughter, Meryl Chatham of NYC. Grandsons, Blaze Chatham of Pensacola Fla. , Kurtis D'Angelo of NYC., Wesley D'Angelo of Darien, Conn. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald, brother Daniel Lee, sister in-laws Betty Lee, Doris Redner, and Barbara Redner, brother in-laws, Raymond Redner, Edward Redner, William Redner, Clifford Redner, and Ralph Redner all of Newburgh.
