Hoaglander Andersen, 74, Saugerties formerely of John Yaeger Rd. died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Valley Health Services in Herkimer. Born Sept. 17, 1939 in Middlehope she was the daughter of the late Robert and Madeline Hoaglander. Predeceased by her husband, Wildon, in 1988 and Brothers, Carl and Arnold. Survivors include one Son: Wildon “Bill” and his wife Sue Andersen of Saugerties, four Daughters: Karen and her husband Fred Brooks of Raleigh, Ellen Andersen of Mass., Cheryl and her husband, Scott Budik of Saugerties, Melissa and her husband Daniel Kagarise of Hawaii. Two Brothers: Rev. Donald Hoaglander and Rev. Robert Hoaglander, two Sisters: Carol Johnson and Linda Ward, 14 Grandchildren also survive. Her Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Friends will be received Saturday 12 Noon – 2 p.m. Interment will be held on Wednesday at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary, N.C. Hoaglander Johnson Cl 1961 who died in Aug, 2015. Brother - Carl J. "Sneakerman" Hoaglander of Newburgh, NY the owner of Sneakers to Boots in Pine Bush, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003 in Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla. He was 57.Born on June 12, 1946 in Newburgh, he was the son of the late Madeline Garrison and Robert F. Hoaglander. Carl was a 1964 graduate of Marlboro High School, and a lifelong area resident.He is survived by his beloved cats, Moo and Boo; his three sisters, Astrid Anderson of Cary, N.C., Carol Johnson of Fishkill, Linda Ward of Ilion; two brothers, Robert Hoaglander of Waltham, Mass., Donald Hoaglander of Sayville; and several nephews, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.He was predeceased by his brother, Arnold S. Hoaglander.Visitation will be Sunday, March 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Perrott-Berardinelli Home for Funerals, Inc., — Grand Avenue, Newburgh.Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Carl's brothers, Donald and Robert, officiating.Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 419 East Main Street, Middletown, NY 10940.
