Barry D. Heaney - Class of 1962

      Barry D. Heaney went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 24, 2015. The son of the late John and Mary Phyllis Hannon Heaney, he was born on May 19, 1942 in Lowell, MA. He was 73 years old. Barry worked for the NYS Department of Transportation. He also was employed by the Pine Bush School District. He served in the Navy during Vietnam and also in the Army National Guard and Air National Guard for a total of over 30 years retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors are his wife, Wenda Risdal Heaney at home; daughters: Traci Herrera and her husband, Rudy and Megan Bedford and her husband, Stephen; sons: Barak Heaney and Logan Heaney. He is also survived by his grandson, Ross Donaldson and his wife, Vicki and great grandsons, Maddex and Trevor, and sister-in-law, Anne Hannon, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Ronald Hannon. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28th from 5-7 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Rt. 208, Walden, NY. A memorial funeral service will follow at 7 PM at the church. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or a veterans’ organization of your choice. “Who Loves You Baby”
