Linda Melick - Class of 1983

    Linda Lee "Ninny" Melick, of New Windsor, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Friday, October 9, 2015. She was 50 years old. The daughter of Jean (Maier) Melick and the late Frederick Melick, she was born September 10, 1965 in Newburgh. Linda attended Newburgh schools and was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her mother, Jean, she is survived by her sister, Betty Melick of New Windsor; niece Kristen E. Melick; and several aunts and cousins. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her uncle, Charles Melick, and her cousin, John Benton. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, October 13 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 14 at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's memory may be sent to www.Friends4Michael.org
