Donald "Donny" Joseph Nerz - Class of 1980

Donald "Donny" Joseph Nerz, Bayer Health Care Controller and devoted family man with a loving heart and generous spirit. Donald 53 of Morristown NJ passed away on Friday Nov. 20, 2015d surrounded by his loving family and friends. Donny's life was marked by his razor-sharp wit, intellect, loyalty to his family and friends and, above all, his kind, loving heart and generous spirit. Visiting hours will be on Sunday Nov. 29, 2015 from 2 to 6 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St. Madison, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 91 Maple Ave. Morristown. Donny was born in Deposit NY and grew up in Newburgh NY. He obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from Manhattan College, and his master's degree in business administration from Lehigh University. Donny worked in different financial positions at Arthur Young, Mennen, Christian Dior and, in his final position as controller at Bayer Health Care. Donny is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Caroline Kelly Nerz an his beloved daughters, Siobhan Yue and Aoife Lu Qi, all of Morriston; his loving parents C. Warren and Lorraine H. Nerz of Fayetteville, NY and his siblings, C. Warren Nerz, Jr. and his wife Gail, of Indianapolis, Ind., Maryellen Nerz Storms and her husband Marc of Strafford, PA,, Thomas Nerz and his wife Kristen of Houston, Texas, Barbara Gregg and her husband Paul of Massapequa, NY., Honora Eskridge and her husband Toye, of Raleigh, NC and Margaret Iribarne and her husband, Jose of DeWitt, NY. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, William and Mary Kelly of County Tipperary, Ireland; his Irish brothers and sisters-in-law, multiple nieces and nephews in both the United States and Ireland, and his wonderful group of loving and loyal friends.
