Ann Cimorelli Peel - Class of 1939

    Ann Cimorelli Peel, a life-long resident of Newburgh, entered into rest on November 29, 2015. She was 94. The daughter of the late Charles and Antoinette (Ercolano) Cimorelli, she was born on June 4, 1921 in New Windsor, NY. Ann was a 1939 graduate of NFA, a member of St. Francis Church and Club 60 Seniors where she served as the recording secretary. Mom was a grea took and she loved taking trips to the casinos and working Election Polls. She was much loved by her family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert H. Peel Sr.; her son, Robert H. Peel Jr. and his wife Mary E. Peel; her siblings: Antoinette Wida, and Charles Cimorelli and his wife Jean; her grandchildren: Della and husband Peter Vondras, Jessica and her husband Jeremy Faraone, Michael Peel, Michelle Peel and Carlos, and John Peel; her great grandchildren: Jordan, Kathryn, Michaela, Mckenzie (Rosey), Joseph, Julia, Chloe, Kael, and Jaxon; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Nick, James, Gus, Frances and Baby Antonetta. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, December 2 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 3 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675; or Family Focus Adoption Service, 9 Knights Circle, Newburgh, NY 12550.
