Linehart, a longtime resident of New Windsor, died Saturday April 9, 2005 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. He was 90. The son of Joseph W. and Antoinette Drubek Linehart, he was born July 17, 1914 in New York City, N.Y. Harry graduated from NFA in 1932, listed in Camera Shy. He was a World War II veteran. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Middle East. He retired from civil service at West Point in 1979 and worked in the U.S.M.A. Museum for 23 years. He is survived by one brother, Joseph Linehart and his wife, Virginia, of Walden; and nieces and nephews. Harry was loved by many. Private graveside services will be held at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, N.Y. Replies to this post No replies yet |
