Catherine Margaret Dominick Crudele of Newburgh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Hudson Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Highland, N.Y. She recently celebrated her 93rd birthday. The daughter of the late Frank and Philomena (Mosca) Dominick, she was born August 25, 1912 in Newburgh, N.Y. Catherine was married to Fred Crudele, who predeceased her in 1960. As part of the World War II effort, Catherine and her sister, Mary, worked as riveters in the Corsair Airplane Factory in Bridgeport, Conn. David Crudele and his wife, Brenda, of Ballston Spa, Jessica Crudele of Albany, and Kevin Crudele of Marlboro. She is also survived by her twin sister, Jane Chruma, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Malcolm, Vincent, Robert (Sam), and Anthony Dominick; and sisters, Anna and Mary Dominick and Rose Mirabilio. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro, N.Y.
