  Henry Donato, New Windsor, N.Y. a resident of Elant since November formerly a resident of the New Windsor County in for 1½ years passed away peacefully on December 19, 2004 at Elant at Newburgh. He was 89.Born on August 12, 1915 in Newburgh, NY. He graduated from NFA in 1932. Henry was a Veteran of the US Army, he was retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie holding the positions of Project Manager, and Assistant to the Controller and before retiring in 1976 was a Level — Manager.He was a Concert Master for the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and the Naples Philharmonic where he resided for 6 months a year for 26 years.A family statement read, "Henry was a talented musician, avid golfer and was known for his quick wit; he was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be dearly missed."Survivors include his loving children, Eleanor Harris of New Windsor, and Carolanne and her husband, Robert Wilson of Warsaw, NY. Cherished grandchildren, Kenneth and his wife, Debra Harris Jr. of Wallkill, Laurie Tafuro of Greenwood Lake, Douglas Harris of New Windsor, Susan and her husband, Russ Ryan of Warsaw, and Stacy Belden of Warsaw. Eight cherished great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lee Stureski Donato in 1940 and by his second wife, Madelyn Francomano Donato in 1997.The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 from 4-8pm at Coloni Funeral Home, 3001 Route 9W, New Windsor, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Newburgh.
