  Kenneth O. Patterson, of New Windsor, N.Y., died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the Montgomery Nursing Home. He was 90. He was born December 28, 1912 in Newburgh, the son of the late Benjamin and Mary Scott Patterson. Mr. Patterson was the retired president of the Highland Ice Cream Company. In addition, he attended Calvary Presbyterian Church; was a member of the Powelton Club; served on the Town of Newburgh Town Board for 24 years; and was Bank Board Chairman for the Newburgh Savings and Loan. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel Barger Patterson who died in 1981. He is survived by his wife, Louise Quackenbush Patterson; daughters, Gail Patterson of New Windsor and Lynne Hall of Alfred, N.Y.; sons, Kenneth Patterson Jr. of Denver, James Smith of Venice, Fla. and Douglas Smith of Port Ewen, N.Y.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends on Sunday, June 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd., town of Newburgh. Funeral services will be Monday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Carlos Lantis and Pastor Lori Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in Cedar Hill Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 120 South St., Newburgh, NY 12550. Funeral arrangements in care of White and Venuto Funeral Home. (Listed in Camera Shy)
