  Ernest Leroy Sherwood (Roy), 93, of Newburgh NY, a retired employee of Nabisco Co., Beacon NY. Entered into rest February 28, 2016 at St. Albans VT. Son of the late Ernest W Sherwood and Theodora (Moshier) Sherwood, born January 10, 1923 Newburgh, NY. Roy graduated Newburgh Free Academy (see Camera Shy) , Served his country as SGT. in the 3rd Tank Destroyer Group WW2. Married Dorothy Evelyn Winchell 1948, His family was his Life! He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in April 2014 and son Guy Sherwood March 2005. He will be missed by his sons Michael Sherwood, Ricky Sherwood and wife Patricia, Glen Sherwood and wife Cindy, Kirk Sherwood and wife Donna, Daughter Althea Sherwood and partner Heidi. Grandchildren Shane, Travis, Brett, Justin, Marisa, Tre, Amber. Funeral Services will be at the convince of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude or your local Hospice. Final care was provided by Minor Funeral Home Milton VT. (Listed in Camera Shy)
