Louise Ann Venuti Dubaldi, of New Windsor, former owner of Pruha’s Restaurant and lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 28, 2016. She was 90 years old. Daughter of the late Ernest and Lena (Sylvester) Venuti, she was born February 15, 1926 in Newburgh. She was married to the late Carmen R. Dubaldi Sr. Louise was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. In the past Louise was active in many clubs and organizations such as the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Francis of Assisi Church, New Windsor Republican Committee and Women’s Republican Club, New Windsor Seniors, Cornwall Hospital Gift Shop, Osiris Country Club, and the Orange County Restaurant & Tavern Association to name a few. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who was a pillar of love and support to her entire family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Carmen R. Dubaldi Jr. of New Windsor and Mary Ann Connolly and her husband Michael of Port Charlotte, FL; her sister, Rita Welch of New Windsor; her grandson Sean Connolly; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband Carmen, she was predeceased by her sister Joan Williams Villa. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Friday, April 1 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, April 2 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
