  Linnie Diane Davis Dabbs, a resident of Greenville, South Carolina, - Formerly of Newburgh, NY passed this life on Monday, March 21, 2016 following a short illness. She was 65 years old. She was born to James "Jimmie" Davis and Ethel Spencer Davis on December 7, 1950 in Belglade, FL. She attended and graduated from Newburgh Public schools. Linnie was previously employed at Silcox Nursing Home and River Valley Nursing Homes as a Certified Nurses Aid. She is survived by her long-time companion, Frederick Rodriguez; two daughters: Regina Grace of Greenville, SC and Mashawnee McMaster (Stuart) of Queensbury, NY; eight grandchildren: TaTiana, Tangie, Tyeisha West, Tracy Gayle, Antoine Grace, Jamir, Jimar and Jaidah McMaster; two great-grandchildren: Samiya and Novell Campbell; two sisters: Rosa L. Brown and Mary E. Bruce; one brother, James "Jimmie" Davis; five sisters-in-law: Elizabeth "Jackie" Davis, Margaret Davis, Elner Davis, Andrea Lugo and Toni Lyons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family near and far. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two daughters: Kendra Grace and Davina Grace; three sisters: Jessie Mae Jones, Melinda Haynes and Eloise Burns; three brothers: Dennis Davis, Gerald Davis and Walter "Sonny" Thomas Davis. Ms. Dabbs will lie in repose from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, April 4th at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First Street, Newburgh, NY with Rev. Dr. Bruce Davis Officiating and Pastor Darrell Perkins as Eulogist. Service begins at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY. Professional service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553.- December 7, 1950 - March 21, 2016
