Marie Anne Woodill passed away peacefully on April 12, 2016, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born and raised in Newburgh, the daughter of Vincent and Rose Coluccio and sister of Vincent Coluccio. Marie was married to Robert Woodill and was mom to daughter Cheryl Lock (son-in-law Christopher Connor) and Stephanie Lock (son-in-law Brian Graham). Her first granddaughter is due in August. Marie is also survived by her mother’s twin Vicki Orrico, sister-in-law, Malena (Marie) Coluccio, nieces Alyssa Coluccio (fiancé Jesse Farmer) and Nicole Coluccio, a great niece, Arianna, and various aunts, uncles and cousins. She’ll be joining her beloved dad up in heaven. Marie worked passionately as a volunteer tutor through the literacy program at the Newburgh Library and raised money every year for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She was best known for her contagious laughter, enthusiastic storytelling, love of her dogs, gregarious spirit and warm, caring nature. Marie was a friend to all she met, and she will be sorely missed. A viewing will be held at Brooks Funeral Home in Newburgh on Friday, April 15th from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart on Saturday, April 16th at 10 a.m. Burial and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
