Lucy Delong Minott - Class of June 1940

    Lucy Delong Minott passed to her heavenly home on April 25, 2016 at the age of 91. She was born in Newburgh, New York to George and Florence DeLong on July 22, 1924 and married I.C. (Bob) Minott, Jr. in Fort Worth, Texas in 1944. They had three children, Susan (Jim) Cornwall, Cheryl (Richard) Marshall, and Jonathan (Debra) Minott, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Lucy was a professional ice skater as a young woman and also had a career as a dental assistant for many years. She was a wonderful mother who always put the children and family ahead of herself. She will be greatly missed but we, as family, know we will see her again when the Lord calls us home. A memorial service to celebrate Lucy's life will be held at Scottsdale Worship Center, 6508 E. Cactus Road, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Hospice of the Valley , 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014
