Ralph L. Morgan entered into rest Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Crystal River, Florida. He was 88 years old. The son of the late Orlando and Henrietta (DeGraw) Morgan, Ralph was born January 4, 1928 in Newburgh. Ralph attended Newburgh schools graduating from Newburgh Free Academy. His work career was primarily as Parts Salesman and eventually Parts Manager for Bard Chevrolet in Newburgh. This career spanned more than four decades. Ralph also owned and operated Morgan Mower Sales and Service in the Town of Newburgh. He retired from and closed this business in 2003. Ralph moved from Newburgh to Crystal River, Florida were he enjoyed retirement. Ralph is survived by his wife of 69 years, Josephine. He is also survived by daughter, Susan Luciano of Bethel, Connecticut and son, Stephen Morgan and his wife, Patricia of Beverly Hills, Florida. He was predeceased by daughter, Patricia Hagar and son, Ralph R. Morgan. Ralph has twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will commence 10 a.m. Sunday, May 15th at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd. (Route 32), Town of Newburgh. Reverend Steve Sherwood will officiate. Following the service Ralph will be laid to rest at the Gardnertown Cemetery, Union Ave., Town of Newburgh.
