Angelina F. Damiano Coloni, of Atria Park at Lake Forest, Sanford Florida, formerly of New Windsor, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was 82. Daughter of the late Anthony J. Damiano and Rose F. (Moresco) Damiano, she was born February 28, 1934 in Newburgh, NY. She was the widow of Richard V Coloni, who predeceased her in 1996. Survivors include her son, Richard Brian Coloni of Debary, FL; three daughters, Gina Marie Coloni of Ridgefield, CT, Margaret "Mia" Coloni of New Windsor, NY, and Paula A Coloni of Pomona, NY; five grandchildren, Jennifer Lastowski of Debary, FL, Traci L. Coloni of Debary, FL, Dominick A Coloni of Orange City, FL, Megan Maeang of Ferrum, VA, and Raymond Han Maeang of New Windsor, NY; one great-grandson, Kayden A. Coloni of Debary, FL; dear friend Miss Eulalie Andrews of The Bronx, NY; sister-in-law Norma Falanga, as well as aunts, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Raymond A. Coloni in 1978. Angie graduated from New York Founding School of Nursing and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Utica Rome. She held several occupations; as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY, Nursing Instructor for BOCES in Newburgh, NY, and former co-owner of Coloni Funeral Home in New Windsor, NY. She was a parishioner of San Marco Catholic Church in Marco Island, FL and Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, NY; and was a former member of Marco Island Country Club in Marco Island, FL, Eagle Creek Country Club in Naples, FL, and The Powelton Club in Newburgh, NY. Angie was an avid golfer who loved the game. She also enjoyed skiing, music, dance, family gatherings, and had an eye for interior decoration. She will be fondly remembered for her ever-present optimism and her great sense of humor. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday, May 16 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Tuesday, May 17 in Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, with burial following in the Family Plot at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
