John "Jack" McGrath - Class of 1979

  John “Jack” McGrath of Newburgh, entered into rest on June 15,2016 at the age of 54. He was the beloved son of the late James R. and Barbara Curlew McGrath being born on December 19,1961 in Newburgh, NY. Jack was a proud Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was a hard working, family-loving man. He was always the first one to lend a helping hand. He had a great love for the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time upstate at the cabin with his family and friends. His strength and courage knew no bounds. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by sons, John and Cory McGrath and their mother Coleen, sister, Beth Hauptman and her husband Fred, brother, Michael McGrath and his companion Dawn Brozowski, his companion Kathy Hopper and several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 20,2016 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home Inc. 318 N. Montgomery St. Newburgh, NY 12550. A private cremation will follow.
